As a proud Latina, she seeks to showcase her heritage and personal experiences through her captivating work.
From an early age, Alexis discovered her love for photography. Starting with a small camera that sparked her curiosity, she later found her true calling during her freshman year of high school when she enrolled in a photojournalism class. It was here that she truly fell in love with the art form, immersing herself in capturing moments and crafting visual stories.
As her photography journey progressed, Alexis embraced her role as the head of the graphic design department in the yearbook class. This experience allowed her to merge her passion for photography with her creative talents in graphic design.
Photography became more than just a hobby for Alexis—it became a powerful means of self-expression. Determined to represent herself, her ideas, and her background, she sought to fill the gap she observed in the representation of Hispanic artists in the industry. Through her lens, she strives to showcase her unique perspective and favorite aspects of her culture, bringing forth a visual narrative that resonates with authenticity.
